The 11th edition of the Magnifica Salodium, organized by Garda Running, saw the participation of approximately 650 athletes in the three competitive distances and 300 in the non-competitive event, confirming the success of the occasion. It took place last weekend, with participants from 11 countries and 32 Italian provinces, including prominent names from the world of trail running. In the Long Trail of 34 km, Luca Arrigoni claimed first place with a time of 2 hours and 51 minutes, followed by Diego Angella and Alessandro Mioli. The women’s race was won by Roberta Schivalocchi in 3 hours and 45 minutes.
In the 23 km Trail distance, Michele Massetti took the lead with a time of 1 hour and 51 minutes, while Giulia Marchesoni fought until the end for a podium finish in the women’s category. Finally, in the Short Trail of 16.5 km, Davide Bottarelli repeated his success from last year. The event concluded with enthusiasm, and attention is already turning to the twelfth edition, which will take place in the municipalities surrounding the Gulf of Salò.
