The countdown has begun for the Magnifica Salodium, the trail running event that will take place on Sunday, February 16, starting and finishing in Salò at Enzo Ferrari Square, next to the Lino Turina Stadium. This eleventh edition of the event, sponsored by the Province of Brescia and the municipalities of Salò, Gardone Riviera, and Roè Volciano, features four distances: 34 km with a positive elevation gain of 1700 meters, 23 km (1050 d+), 16.5 km (750 d+), and a non-competitive trail of 8.5 km (250 d+). The first three competitive races are part of the Uisp Trail Running Challenge.
Registrations are open online at www.wedosport.net until 1 PM on Friday, February 14, or until the limit of 250 athletes for each competition is reached. Additionally, it will be possible to register during the event “Corri & Cammina per Salò” on February 10. The routes wind through the trails of the Alto Garda Bresciano Park, passing through the historic center of Salò and ascending towards Monte San Bartolomeo, offering participants breathtaking views of the gulf. The start time for the longest race is set for 8 AM.
