Lieutenant Maurizio Benetton is leaving the command of the Carabinieri station in Gardone Riviera after three years of service. Originally from Milan, Benetton took on his role in Gardone in December 2021, following significant experiences, including a position in the anti-mafia investigative department. Starting Monday, December 2, he will take command of the Gavardo station as directed by the Provincial Command.
During his time in Gardone Riviera, Benetton achieved remarkable operational results, actively contributing to the safety of the area and launching initiatives to raise awareness among the population, particularly regarding the prevention of scams targeting the elderly. Until the appointment of the new commander, Deputy Marshal Paolo Cerasoli will temporarily assume command of the local station.
