In the Valle di Ledro, along the stretch connecting Molina and Mezzolago, temporary changes to traffic regulations are expected on State Road 240. The road will be **closed to traffic** from 8:30 PM on Monday, July 22, until 4:00 AM on Tuesday, July 23, to allow for urgent safety measures on the rock face.
**Safety Measures**
The work is being carried out by the Provincial Road Service and involves the stabilization of the rock slope and the restoration of the roadway. Following an order issued on May 10 that established a one-way alternating traffic system and prohibited pedestrian passage, it has become necessary to initiate further interventions to mitigate the risk of falling rocks.
**New Traffic Configuration**
Starting at 4:00 AM on July 23, the road will reopen with a new configuration. An **alternating one-way system** will be implemented for vehicles, while one lane will be reserved for pedestrians. The prohibition on pedestrian access will therefore be lifted. To implement this configuration, the concrete barriers will be repositioned along the central roadway.
**Traffic Details and Detours**
During the nighttime operations, all heavy traffic up to 7.5 tons will be diverted through the village of Pur along the municipal road located on the opposite side of Lake Ledro. After the completion of the works, vehicle circulation will be regulated by a maximum speed limit of **30 kilometers per hour**, with a complete ban on overtaking.
These changes are necessary to ensure the safety of road users and to allow the work to proceed without additional risks.
