The intervention was requested by the Fire Brigade and revealed that the fuel likely originates from a service station located near the SS 45 bis road, where a leak from an underground tank is suspected.
Arpa technicians, along with municipal staff and the responsible oil company, have taken immediate measures to contain the pollution of surface waters. Currently, the operator is conducting further checks on the recently inspected tank. Arpa emphasizes the importance of regularly performing checks on fuel distribution facilities to prevent similar incidents and ensure environmental protection.
