The San Zeno Gallery in Lonato will temporarily reopen from April 19 to May 5, allowing continuous traffic both day and night, albeit with construction setups in place. The Brescia Verona Vicenza Padova Highway Company has announced that this phase marks the completion of the initial modernization works, which included civil engineering and the upgrading of the lighting system. Starting from May 5, a second phase of the works will begin, during which the gallery will be closed to traffic exclusively at night, from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM, for approximately nine months.
The aim of the works is to equip the San Zeno Gallery with new technological systems and ensure higher standards of safety and efficiency. During the night closures, alternative routes will be clearly marked to facilitate the movement of drivers in the area. The gallery will reopen to traffic daily from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, thereby ensuring continuous service to the local community even during the ongoing works.
