On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Montichiari is preparing for three significant events taking place between March 7 and 8 to celebrate the role of women in society. The local administration has organized activities open to everyone, focusing on conviviality and reflection. The first gathering will be held on Friday, March 7, at 3 PM at the Casa Bianca Day Center, where a bingo game will take place alongside an exhibition of paintings created by participants from the Art group, followed by a light refreshment. On the same day, at 8:30 PM at the Casa Serena Foundation, the book “Saletta con tavolo e sedie” by author Danila Biglino will be presented.
The following day, Saturday, March 8, a special event is scheduled at the Lechi Museum at 4:30 PM featuring Carolina Capria, a writer and feminist activist. During the meeting, Capria will present her new book “Maestre,” published by HarperCollins, in dialogue with Paola Bosio. The volume explores the stories of significant female figures such as Jane Austen and Toni Morrison, offering insights into understanding female genius throughout the centuries. These events represent an important opportunity to raise awareness in the community about issues related to the female experience.
