From October 18 to 20, the 14th National Conference on Research in Parks took place at the Parco Natura Viva in Bussolengo, an important initiative dedicated to biodiversity. This year, 130 participants attended the event, which featured 70 scientific contributions, including 41 oral presentations and 29 posters. The conference brought together researchers, academics, and industry professionals who discussed threats to biodiversity such as climate change and the illegal trafficking of species.
The event included speakers from 16 Italian universities and three from other European institutions, addressing crucial topics for the conservation of endangered species. Among the participating zoos were institutions like the Naples Zoo and the Pistoia Zoological Garden. A significant new feature of this edition was the introduction of a space dedicated to media communication on biodiversity issues.
