In the Gulf of Salò, the weekend of November 16 and 17 saw the participation of sixteen boats for the first leg of the traditional winter championship Autunno Inverno Salodiano, organized by the Canottieri Garda. The sailing races took place under optimal conditions, with a steady wind ranging from 6 to 8 knots, allowing for three races on Saturday and another three on Sunday. The provisional standings in the Protagonist class are led by El Moro, helmed by Enrico Sinibaldi, followed by General Lee and Casper, while in the Fun class, Wanderfun skippered by Alberto Azzi is in the lead.
Ezio Pozzengo, president of the Race Committee, expressed his satisfaction with the successful outcome of the event: “It was a positive weekend in every aspect.” The Autunno Inverno Salodiano will return to the Gulf of Salò on February 1 and 2, 2025, continuing to attract sailing enthusiasts to the beautiful lakeside setting.
