A new environmental initiative will take place on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Conca d’Oro Beach in Salò. From 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, a notice of cautionary navigation will be in effect in the Gulf of Salò.
The event, organized in collaboration with the PLASTICFREE association, will see the active participation of scuba divers engaged in cleaning the seabed. The presence of the divers requires specific safety measures to ensure that the operations are carried out without any incidents.
Cleaning the seabed and safety:
During these four hours, the divers will work intensively to remove the accumulated waste from the lake floor. This intervention is part of a series of activities aimed at protecting the lake environment and promoting sustainability.
For this reason, local authorities have issued a notice requiring all boaters to exercise cautious and careful navigation in the area affected by the operations. The goal is to avoid any risks to the scuba divers involved in the cleaning activities.
