On Saturday, March 22, the **Museo Alto Garda** in Riva del Garda will open its doors to a special event titled “Visions of Lake Garda: New Art Pathways at the MAG.” This initiative represents a significant opportunity to discover the renovation of the Pinacoteca and the new exhibition pathway that will be unveiled starting at 10:30 AM.
The renovation project aims to highlight the evolution of art within the local context, spanning from the Middle Ages to Contemporary Art. Visitors will have the chance to admire recently restored works and new acquisitions, as well as learn about the museum’s projects focusing on the interaction between landscape and contemporary society.
## Presentation of the New Pinacoteca
The day’s opening will feature a detailed presentation of the new Pinacoteca, where various sections of the exhibition pathway will be illustrated. The artworks on display will include paintings, sculptures, maps, and photographs, accompanied by innovative captions designed to engage diverse audiences.
Following the official presentation, museum staff will guide participants through the new exhibition spaces. To enhance the atmosphere, there will be musical interludes provided by students from the F. A. Bonporti Conservatory in Riva del Garda, contributing to an immersive experience for all attendees.
## Activities for Families and Children
In the afternoon, starting at 2:30 PM, the MAG will transform into a space dedicated to fun and creativity for families and children. A new play area will be inaugurated, designed to stimulate learning through play. Families will be able to participate in artistic workshops and explore interactive pathways, in addition to enjoying performances by street artists who will entertain visitors with engaging shows.
The day will culminate in a convivial moment where all participants can enjoy a snack offered by the museum, thus promoting socialization among the community present.
