Sergio Pecorelli has been appointed as the new member of the Scientific Committee of Terme di Sirmione, an important institution dedicated to health and wellness through the use of thermal waters. The professor, a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology and former Director of the Obstetric and Gynecological Clinic at the University of Brescia, will bring his extensive academic and clinical experience to support research projects aimed at scientifically validating thermal therapies. His addition to the committee enriches the group of experts studying the therapeutic properties of the thermal water sourced from Boiola.
The Scientific Committee, active since 1949, aims to develop protocols and guidelines to establish the effectiveness of thermal therapy within the context of health prevention. Pecorelli, known for his commitment to the protection of women’s health, will collaborate with existing members to integrate thermal treatments into prevention and rehabilitation pathways. Terme di Sirmione thus continues to position itself as a reference point in the health landscape, thanks to the scientific approach applied to its therapeutic practices.
