The New Year’s Dive kicked off 2025 in a traditional manner along the shores of Brescia, Verona, and Trento on Lake Garda, attracting a massive turnout of swimmers who gathered to celebrate the first day of the year. External and water temperatures, hovering around 10 degrees Celsius, did not deter the brave participants, drawn by the beauty of the sunny day. Riva del Garda recorded the largest gathering with a remarkable 200 divers in its 27th edition, while in Maderno, around 120 people took part in one of the most internationally recognized events, now in its 19th edition.
Brenzone also witnessed a significant turnout, exceeding 100 participants in its event, which boasts the longevity of being organized since 1989. This event is not only a moment of fun but also symbolizes good fortune for the new year, attracting enthusiasts from various locations and even abroad.
