Gardone Riviera has a new station commander: Paolo Cerasoli. Recently, the 26-year-old marshal was appointed head of the Carabinieri Station, becoming the youngest commander in the extensive area of the Salò Company. Originally from the Province of Cuneo and serving in the lakeside town since July 2022, Cerasoli began his operational career in Gardone Riviera after completing his training at the Marshal School in Florence, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Legal Sciences for Security.
After serving as deputy commander, Cerasoli temporarily took command of the station last December following the transfer of his predecessor. Now, with his official appointment as commander, he expresses satisfaction with his role in the community: “I feel very well and I understand the dynamics of the area,” he stated.
