A pedestrian was hit in Desenzano del Garda while trying to help the police manage traffic following a road accident. The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, along via Marconi. The 45-year-old man was struck by a car and ended up on the hood, hitting his head forcefully against the windshield. Emergency services and a patrol from the Desenzano police station arrived at the scene to investigate. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital in stable condition and is not believed to be in life-threatening danger.
This incident highlights the risk that citizens take when they decide to intervene directly in emergency situations without proper training. Despite good intentions, it can happen that additional dangerous situations are created or that one’s own safety is jeopardized.
