The Polpenazze Wine Fair returns for its 72nd edition, animating the historic center of the town from May 24th to 27th. After a forced break due to the pandemic, the event was successfully reintroduced in 2023 and this year it is preparing to welcome thousands of visitors once again. The event will see the participation of 25 wineries from Valtenesi and the surrounding areas, offering over 200 labels for tasting. Among the new features, a new “Tasting Court” will be set up in the Garden under the walls.
The program includes the opening at 6pm on Friday, May 24th, with tastings that will continue throughout the weekend. Saturday will start at noon, while on Sunday the official inauguration will take place at 9:30am, followed by the award ceremony of the national wine competition dedicated to Valtenesi. Monday will have an afternoon opening and the grand fireworks finale at 11pm. During the four days of the fair, food trucks and local merchants will offer gastronomic specialties to visitors. Tasting glasses can be purchased for 15 euros at designated cash registers, with tastings priced at one euro for the first glass and three euros for subsequent ones.
