On October 25th, at Palazzo Callas Exhibitions, “A RIVA” was presented, marking BOOK02 of the Sirmione Photo Residency. This volume represents an exciting exploration of the Sirmione territory, creating a space for reconciliation between nature and humanity. Published by the Municipality of Sirmione, the book was introduced by photographer Simona Ghizzoni, alongside Mayor Luisa Lavelli and Tourism Councillor Riccardo Genovesi. It highlights the historical, anthropological, and social aspects of the community.
“A RIVA” is part of a broader editorial project aimed at enhancing the territory through photography. Ghizzoni weaves together legends and traditions related to water with portraits, still lifes, and landscapes, offering a layered vision of life in Sirmione. The book is available at the Cultural Office of the Municipality of Sirmione and serves as an important cultural document for the community.
