The fifteenth edition of the provincial championship for sailors with disabilities has successfully concluded, held in the Gulf of Desenzano del Garda. The last three races featured intense competition among the teams, culminating in the victory of Team 1 from Anffas Onlus Mantova, composed of Cinzia Vezzù, Andrea Vanni, and educator Alice Baronio. The event, organized by the Dielleffe sailing group and characterized by moments of camaraderie and thrilling races, highlighted the value of sailing as a tool for social inclusion.
The event saw the participation of eight crews from various associations, with each team competing on J24 boats provided by Dielleffe. The awards ceremony took place after a communal lunch and a magic show, during which gadgets were given to all participants, and the VII Trofeo Luigina Bressanelli was awarded to Anffas of Desenzano-Rivoltella. The championship received the patronage of the Municipality of Desenzano del Garda and support from various local businesses, reaffirming the importance of solidarity and community engagement in promoting inclusive events.
