On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, a “Red Dinner” will take place on Monday, November 25, at 7:30 PM in Gardone Riviera. This event is organized by the Caterina De’ Medici Hotel Institute. Under the guidance of teachers Vincenzo De Fazio and Artur Vaso, who was recently awarded in a national sommelier competition, students will prepare a dinner aimed at raising public awareness about the issue of gender-based violence. The initiative, promoted by Principal Marialuisa Orlandi in collaboration with councilor Monica Rovida, has already generated significant interest, with over a hundred requests for participation and a waiting list activated.
During the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy dishes prepared by the students and participate in moments of reflection through poetry readings, creating an atmosphere that blends conviviality with social commitment. This event not only serves as an opportunity to savor the culinary creations of the students but also delivers a powerful message against violence towards women.
