Recently, Desenzano del Garda hosted a significant event dedicated to the update of the racing rules for 2025-2028, attracting the attention of over 120 participants, including instructors and race officials. The training evenings, held in two sessions in Desenzano and Riva del Garda, featured experts such as Giorgio Bolla, an International Judge, who clearly outlined the regulatory updates. This initiative represents a significant step for sailing training in the XIV FIV Zone, aiming to promote continuous and qualified preparation for professionals in the field.
The interest shown by the participants exceeded expectations, highlighting the importance of returning to in-person meetings after the pandemic period. During the evenings, over 100 new rules from World Sailing were presented, accompanied by practical examples to aid understanding. The XIV FIV Zone will continue to invest in the training of its instructors through new courses and modules scheduled for the current season, maintaining an essential network for the development of sailing in the region.
