Veneto is preparing for the 2023/2024 school year by implementing an economic support initiative for students, in accordance with Regional Law 19/01/2001 No. 1 and DGR No. 495 of 06/05/2024. This contribution is intended to partially cover registration and attendance expenses and support the educational activities of students with disabilities, in accordance with Law 104/92. The initiative is also aimed at the municipalities on the Veronese shore of Lake Garda.
Requirements and Beneficiaries
The right to apply for the contribution is extended to parents, legal guardians, or adult students themselves. Beneficiaries must be residents of Veneto and enrolled for the 2023-2024 school year in institutes of all levels, both public and private, as well as in professional training schools recognized by the region.
Economic Conditions
To access the contribution, the student’s expenses for the 2023-2024 school year must amount to at least €200. Expenses for meals, transportation, textbooks, and voluntary contributions are excluded from the calculation. Another important requirement is the ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator), which must not exceed €40,000.00 for non-disabled students and can go up to €60,000.00 for students with disabilities, who can also request reimbursement of expenses incurred for educational support up to €15,000.00.
Application Procedure
Applications must be submitted exclusively online through the portal specified by the region, starting from May 15th until June 17th, 2024. Applicants will need to authenticate themselves, fill out the available form, and submit it via the PEC (Certified Electronic Mail), PEO (Electronic Document Delivery), or physically at the educational institutions. Confirmation and any data corrections will take place between May 15th and June 28th, 2024. In addition, any discrepancies related to the ISEE must be resolved by September 10th, 2024.
For assistance, interested parties can contact the Regional Office for the Right to Education or turn to the regional U.R.P. (Public Relations Offices), municipalities, and educational institutions, which provide support in managing applications and resolving any issues.
