The Municipality of Lonato del Garda has announced the opening of registrations for the after-school service for the 2024/2025 school year. The service, called “Spazio+,” was launched on a trial basis in the 2021/2022 school year and is being offered again for the 2023/2024 school year.
Spazio+ is aimed at children and teenagers residing in Lonato del Garda (the main town and its districts) and attending the Lonato del Garda Comprehensive Institute, with an age range of 6 to 14 years. The objective of the project is to offer an educational and training experience that promotes social integration and a better balance between family and work life.
The activities offered aim to improve academic performance by providing support and study assistance. The service will be managed by qualified personnel specifically appointed by the Municipality.
Registration applications can be submitted at the Social Services Office or by email to sociali@comune.lonato.bs.it or servizisociali3@comune.lonato.bs.it. The registration period runs from May 2, 2024, to May 30, 2024.
At the end of the registration period, a ranking list will be compiled, giving priority to families residing in Lonato del Garda, with both parents working full-time or to single-parent families where the parent is employed. Confirmation of registration will be sent via email by the end of June.
The service will have a maximum capacity of 75 participants and will be activated with a minimum of 15 registered participants. It will take place in the afternoon, three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with the possibility of extended hours until 6:00 pm. The activities will start on September 16, 2024, and continue until May 30, 2025.
