This morning, on March 3rd, an important memorandum of understanding was signed between the Municipality of Salò and the Brescia Theatre Centre (CTB) for the renovation of the Salò Municipal Theatre. The agreement outlines a three-year collaboration in which the CTB will provide technical and implementation support, assisting the Project Manager and designers in managing the modernization works. The renovation aims to enhance the structure, which, upon completion, will have a capacity of approximately 570 seats, transforming it into a versatile “container-tool.”
The new theatre will not only preserve its traditional historical functions “in the Italian style,” but will also be able to host prose performances, operas, concerts, and musical recitals. This initiative represents a significant step for local culture and for the promotion of artistic events in the area.
