On the occasion of the sports events scheduled for Sunday, May 26, 2024, the city of Salò will undergo significant changes to its road network. The “7th Triathlon Sprint – City of Salò” and the “12th Run for Telethon 10K” races will result in the closure of several roads to vehicular traffic and the establishment of no-parking zones.
To allow for the twelfth edition of the Run for Telethon 10K, the following streets will be closed to traffic:
– Via Atleti Azzurri d’Italia: from 07:00 until the end of the race.
– Via Gasparo da Salò: from 09:00 to 10:00 or until the last competitor passes.
– Via Zette: from 09:00 to 11:00 or until the last competitor passes.
– Via Muro (from Via Anime del Purgatorio to Via del Panorama): from 09:00 to 12:00 or until the last competitor passes.
In addition, there will be a no-parking zone with enforced towing in Via Odorici (in front of the entrances to the Municipal Stadium) and in Via Pietro da Salò (from Chiosco Conca to Motonautica Zanca) from 08:00 to 11:30, as indicated by the road signs.
The seventh edition of the Triathlon Sprint – City of Salò will result in further closures:
– Via Pietro da Salò will be closed to traffic from 04:00 to 17:00 or until the end of the event.
– From 12:30 to 15:00, the following streets will be closed:
– Intersection of Via Giovanni Da Ulma and Via Brezzo
– Via Brezzo
– Intersection of Via Papa Giovanni XXIII and Via Bertoni
– Via Bertoni
– Intersection of Via Bertoni and Via Pietro da Salò
– Intersection of Via da Feltre, Via Bertoni, and Via Pietro da Salò
– Intersection of Via San Benedetto, Via Da Feltre, Via Bertoni, and Via Pietro da Salò
– Intersection of Via Pietro da Salò and Via Zette
– Rotatoria del Violino – Via Zette, Santa Caterina, San Felice
– Via Tavine
There will be no-parking zones with enforced towing in the following areas:
– Piazza Bresciani from 05:00 to 15:00.
– Piazza Sant’Antonio from 12:30 to 16:00.
Finally, parking will be allowed but vehicles will not be allowed to leave in the following parking areas on Via Tavine (Cimitero, Paradiso, L. Comencini) from 12:00 to 15:30.
These measures aim to ensure the safety of athletes and spectators during the competitions. Therefore, the public is urged to pay attention to the temporary signs that will be placed along the routes affected by the sports events.
