Two foreign citizens were arrested in Verona following two robberies that occurred in the evening. The first incident took place at the “Zara” store on Via Mazzini, where a 38-year-old man of Russian origin attempted to steal a piece of clothing and assaulted the store’s security personnel before being apprehended by the Carabinieri.
The second arrest occurred at the “Lidl” supermarket on Corso Venezia, where a 22-year-old Moroccan man and his partner were caught trying to steal food items and perfumes. After assaulting the employees and attempting to flee, they were intercepted by the Carabinieri nearby. Both men are now awaiting a direct trial before the Judge of the Court of Verona.
