A serious road accident occurred yesterday in Roè Volciano, when a 56-year-old man driving a Maserati veered off the road along the provincial road towards Salò. The accident was reportedly caused by a sudden illness that struck the driver. Fortunately, despite the vehicle being completely destroyed by the impact, the man did not sustain serious injuries. Volunteer rescuers and local police officers from Valsabbia were called to the scene, where they provided initial care to the man before transporting him by ambulance to Gavardo Hospital, where he was admitted with a yellow code.
This incident once again highlights the importance of being always prepared to react in case of sudden illness while driving. It is crucial to maintain a healthy lifestyle and regularly undergo medical check-ups to prevent any potential heart problems or other conditions that could compromise driving safety.
