Today, on March 8, the art exhibition titled “Out of the Shadows” was inaugurated at the Parliamentary Acts Corridor of the “Nilde Iotti” library in Rome. This event was promoted by the President of the parliamentary inquiry commission on femicide and all forms of gender-based violence, Martina Semenzato, as part of the 2025 agenda initiative “New Languages on Gender-Based Violence.” The exhibition features a series of posters created by female artists, photographers, and designers, selected by students from the Fermi High School in Salò, with the aim of highlighting female talent and encouraging a profound reflection on gender discrimination.
The exhibition will be open for viewing until March 20, 2025. During the inauguration, several speakers took the floor, including Giorgi Mulè, Vice President of the Chamber, along with Martina Semenzato and Silvia Carminati, a professor at Enrico Fermi High School. Also present were Marco Tarolli, the school principal, and Benedetta Traverso, a student from Fermi, who contributed to the discussion on the importance of art as a tool for raising awareness on these issues.
