The Santa Lucia Biancoblu Association, active in the Valle Sabbia region, is dedicated to bringing smiles to sick children through solidarity initiatives. Founded by a group of friends, the association began its mission by collecting toys for the pediatric wards of hospitals in Brescia and has since expanded its activities to support child neuropsychiatry and other vulnerable groups. Every year, thanks to the contributions of volunteers and supporters, it manages to bring moments of joy to hundreds of young patients.
On December 15, the association will resume its activities in hospitals after the challenges posed by COVID-19. Among the recent events organized to raise funds was a large celebration in Vobarno, which saw the participation of families and children. The funds raised are enabling significant renovations in the Child Neuropsychiatry ward at the Spedali Civili of Brescia, transforming the environment into a more welcoming space for young patients. This initiative demonstrates how small gestures can have a significant impact on the lives of children and their families.
