This scam has also garnered attention in the Valle Sabbia area, with reports coming in from Vobarno. Representatives from the Alpini group in Salò are warning that the individual is not affiliated with their organization and is damaging their reputation.
The group leader of the Alpini, Paolo Rossati, emphasized that their section does not engage in fundraising activities in this manner and urges the community to remain vigilant. The scammer is known to provide handwritten receipts to his targets, attempting to make his deception appear more credible. The situation has recently been highlighted in a television report covering similar cases occurring in other provinces.
