Castiglione delle Stiviere: Security Checks Intensified by the Carabinieri of Mantova Over the past weekend, the Carabinieri of the Castiglione delle Stiviere Company conducted a targeted operation focusing on security checks in the area, particularly during the night hours between Saturday, February 1, and Sunday, February 2. These actions are part of a plan agreed upon by the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security, chaired by the Prefect of Mantova, Dr. Roberto Bolognesi, aimed at ensuring public safety and combating all forms of illegality.
During the operations, which involved eight military personnel from the Carabinieri Company, 27 vehicles were stopped and 88 individuals were identified; additionally, two public establishments were inspected. The Carabinieri issued two fines for violations of the Highway Code and reported two young individuals found in possession of approximately 4 grams of hashish to the Prefecture of Mantova. The Command has announced that these checks will continue in the coming days to maintain a high level of safety perception among citizens.
