Sirmione: Updates on the Renovation Works at Trebeschi Middle School. The municipal administration has provided a detailed report on the ongoing interventions aimed at modernizing and bringing the school structure up to standard. Currently, the works have not yet reached the stage of repairing the roof, which explains the persistent water infiltration issues. Problems related to the roof, exacerbated by the hailstorm in July 2023 and the seismic improvement works, require a definitive solution only after the completion of the interventions.
Furthermore, the construction site has caused some inconveniences within the institution, where efforts are underway to enhance seismic resistance and comply with fire safety regulations. The interventions also include raising the internal parapets and replacing the windows to ensure greater energy efficiency. The total value of the works exceeds 1 million euros, and it is expected that the completion timeline may be extended due to operational needs related to the school schedule. Finally, regarding the alleged blockage of the heating system, the administration clarified that it was caused by air in the hot water pipes, which was promptly removed by the maintenance staff.
