An important celebration is approaching in the upper Mantua region: the 160th anniversary of the Italian Red Cross. This significant occasion will be marked by a series of events culminating on June 22nd with a visit from the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella. His presence will be one of the most anticipated moments during the traditional torchlight procession between Castiglione delle Stiviere and Solferino.
The program of celebrations will kick off tomorrow evening, Friday June 21st, with a grand concert in Piazza Castello in Solferino. The event will start at 8:30 PM and will be hosted by Petra Loreggian of RDS. This musical show will feature the participation of several renowned Italian artists and will be attended by the volunteers of the Association along with the local population.
The evening promises to be memorable thanks to the presence of well-known Italian musicians. Among the artists performing will be Fausto Leali, Arisa, Mannini, Irene Grandi, and Dolcenera. Other important names include Lorenzo Fragola, Aka7even, the group Statuto, Simona Molinari, Gianmarco Carroccia & Band, Moreno, and the actress-singer Violante Placido.
This musical event represents a unique opportunity to celebrate the important milestone reached by the Italian Red Cross, involving not only the volunteers but also the entire local community in an evening of music and solidarity.
The appointment is therefore set for tomorrow evening in Solferino, where the celebrations for the 160 years of activity of the Italian Red Cross will officially begin, an organization that continues to play a fundamental role in humanitarian support throughout the national and international territory.
