The town of Castiglione delle Stiviere is gearing up to host the XXXV edition of the Sports Festival, an event that promises to be a celebration of movement and well-being. On Sunday, September 22, Pastore Park will transform into the perfect stage for a day dedicated to all ages, featuring sports activities, performances, and fun for everyone.
A Sports Village in the Heart of the Park
From 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the park will be set up as a true Sports Village. Visitors will have the chance to explore various informational booths run by local sports associations, discovering a wide range of disciplines. Activities will include dance, artistic and acrobatic gymnastics, swimming, soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, martial arts, and much more.
Performances and Tournaments Throughout the Day
The day’s program also includes numerous live performances. From 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, there will be demonstrations of various sports disciplines. Athletes will showcase karate and other martial arts, along with dance and acrobatic gymnastics performances. Friendly tournaments in volleyball, soccer, basketball, and tennis will engage all participants.
Activities for the Young Ones
Children will have dedicated areas where they can enjoy mini-sport circuits and friendly matches. The playful activities related to sports will provide them with opportunities to try new experiences in a safe and stimulating environment.
The Mayor’s Message
Mayor Enrico Volpi emphasized the importance of the event for the local community: “The Sports Festival is a valuable moment for us – he stated – an extraordinary opportunity to promote fundamental values such as health, discipline, respect, and inclusion.” He also expressed gratitude towards the sports associations that contributed to the organization of the event.
