On Sunday, April 7th, the Museo Alto Garda in Riva del Garda will offer free admission to all visitors. This initiative is part of the #domenicalmuseo project promoted by the Ministry of Culture, which allows free access to museums every first Sunday of the month.
During the day, visitors will be able to explore the museum’s permanent collections, as well as the two temporary exhibitions currently on display: “Dove finisce il lago. Terra Project” and “Giovanni Skulina. Frammenti d’istanti”. The latter exhibition will be inaugurated the day before the event.
In addition to the exhibitions, visitors will have the opportunity to climb the mastio, the tower of the Rocca, from where they can admire a splendid panorama of Lake Garda. It will also be possible to explore the archaeological and historical sections, while children can have fun with a new video in the Invento area, which tells the story of the Rocca through sand drawings accompanied by music and narration.
The Museo Alto Garda is a must-visit for those who want to learn more about the history and culture of the Garda area. Located in the picturesque setting of the Rocca in Riva del Garda, it offers a comprehensive overview of the history of Alto Garda, from prehistoric times to the present day.
The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 7th, from 10 am to 6 pm. Free admission will allow everyone to discover and appreciate the wonders of the Museo Alto Garda.
