In Lazise, a pair of white swans is currently nesting in the reeds along the lake, right at the border between Lazise and Bardolino. This scene of wild nature unfolds in the area where boats are stored, where the mother swan has built a nest visible to passing tourists. Recently, the swan has fluffed her feathers in preparation for welcoming her cygnets, promising the imminent arrival of a new brood that will swim among the surrounding reeds.
However, WWF Bergamo Brescia urges caution: it is crucial not to disturb wildlife such as swans during this delicate period. These birds are perfectly capable of taking care of themselves and do not require human intervention for feeding. Interacting with them can lead to risks and diseases, compromising their well-being. The recommendation is clear: observe with respect and maintain a distance to ensure the tranquility of the nesting pair and their future young.
