The SP38 road in Tignalga, in the municipality of Tremosine, will be closed starting from Monday, April 15th. The road had been reopened during the Easter holidays, but it will now be closed again to allow for the completion of works.
On Monday, April 15th, several interventions will be carried out, including the filling behind the constructed wall and the installation of a cortical reinforcement net through the placement of tie rods and welded mesh and erosion control netting. In addition, a reinforced concrete curb will be built upstream of the section affected by the landslide, in order to prevent the loss of the road edge. Vertical micropiles and inclined tie rods will also be installed to absorb the horizontal thrust components generated by passing vehicles.
The road will remain closed until the end of April, when the works are expected to be completed.
In the meantime, during these days leading up to the total closure of the road, one-way traffic will be allowed near the construction site.
This is an important intervention to ensure the safety of the road and improve the infrastructure in the area. The Province of Brescia is working to minimize the inconvenience caused by the temporary closure of the SP38 and is committed to completing the works as quickly as possible.
