In anticipation of the celebrations for November 4th, which commemorate the Day of National Unity and the Armed Forces Day, the Cultural Department of Gargnano has organized a significant event. It is a theatrical performance titled “Here Among the Rocks and the Sky: The Great War in the Mountains”, scheduled for Monday, November 4, 2024, starting at 8:30 PM at the Castellani Hall, located at Via del Teatro No. 14.
Event Details
Admission to the event is free, providing everyone the opportunity to attend this performance dedicated to the historical memory of World War I. The show is produced by Teatro Gavardo and features the participation of Andrea Giustacchini. The script was written by John Comini, while the direction is entrusted to Peppino Coscarelli.
Literary Inspiration
The performance is inspired by the book by Maurizio Abastanotti titled “Of My Long Silence,” which explores themes related to war and the experiences lived in the mountains during that crucial historical period.
