Toscolano Maderno is preparing to host the running event “En mes ai ulif” on September 29, with the race starting at 9:15 AM from the local stadium. The event, organized by Asd Runners Salò with the support of the municipality, honors Gaetarelli and features a new scenic route of 18.5 km that runs through the Valle delle Cartiere and the district of Gaino. This change was necessary due to land slides.
The competition serves as the final event of the Gran Prix of Mountain Running of Libertas Valsabbia and will award prizes to the clubs with the highest scores. Among the anticipated athletes are Davide Bottarelli, the winner of the previous edition, and Marco Biondi from the Brescia Fire Brigade. In addition to the main race, there will be an “easy” 9 km walk for families and beginners.
