The Faculty of Linguistic Sciences and Foreign Literatures at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart is organizing a series of conferences dedicated to tourism on Lake Garda as part of the course “International Communication of the Territory” for the academic year 2024/2025. These meetings, scheduled to take place between October and November 2024 at the Toniolo Hall on Via Trieste 17 in Brescia, will feature experts from the field and representatives from organizations and consortia involved in the promotion and management of tourism in the Garda region.

Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 9:30 AM: The Observatory for Tourism on Lake Garda: A Tool for Analysis and Reflection
Speaker: Patrizia Avanzini, President of the Garda Community.
The conference will discuss the role and activities of the Observatory for Tourism, which serves as a key tool for data collection and reflection on the tourism dynamics of the region. The Observatory enables monitoring of trends and provides useful insights for the promotion and management of the territory.
Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 9:30 AM: Promotional Activities for Lake Garda
Speaker: Daiana Cominotti, Director of the Garda Lombardia Consortium.
This presentation will focus on the promotional strategies implemented by the Garda Lombardia Consortium, highlighting initiatives aimed at enhancing the visibility of the lake and attracting visitors at both national and international levels.
Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 9:30 AM: VisitBrescia and the Promotion of Garda in the Markets
Speaker: Andrea Maggioni, Vice President of VisitBrescia.
The final meeting will focus on the tourism promotion activities carried out by VisitBrescia, with particular attention to international markets and marketing campaigns aimed at enhancing the Garda territory.
