Sirmione: Tourist Medical Service, Opening Hours, and Summer Services
In the heart of Sirmione, at the Colombare clinic in Piazza Virgilio 35, the Tourist Medical Service is active for the summer of 2024. This important healthcare facility offers free assistance to tourists temporarily staying in the area, providing first aid, medical examinations, and prescriptions.
The opening schedule includes the following dates:
- Monday, July 15, 2024: from 8:30 am to 11:00 am
- Saturday, July 20, 2024: from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm
- Monday, July 22, 2024: from 8:30 am to 11:00 am
- Friday, July 26, 2024: from 8:30 am to 11:00 am
- Saturday, July 27, 2024: from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm
- Tuesday, July 30, 2024: from 8:00 am to 10:00 am
- Saturday, August 3, 2024: from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm

Access Methods
To use the service, citizens must present a valid Health Insurance Card/TEAM and an identification document.
Home Visits
If a home visit is necessary outside of clinic hours, the service is available at a cost of €40 per visit, following current tax regulations.
Continuity of Care
During periods when the Tourist Medical Service is not operational, the Continuity of Care can be contacted by calling the national helpline number 116117. This service is available every day from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am, and on Saturdays, holidays, and pre-holidays (including August 14) from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. The rates are as follows:
- General practitioner visit/continuity of care at the clinic:€20
- General practitioner home visit/continuity of care:€35
Residents from outside the region can request reimbursement at their local health authority (ATS) if not registered with the Regional Health Service (SSR).
