A tragic road accident occurred in Bedizzole on November 15, shortly after 9 PM, when a 29-year-old man, Gaston Nicolas Pascale Urgoiti, originally from Uruguay, was struck between via Brescia and via Valtenesi. The driver involved, a 61-year-old man, did not stop to provide assistance and returned home. He was later located by the carabinieri and tested positive for alcohol. The victim was urgently transported in critical condition to the emergency room at Civile Hospital in Brescia but, unfortunately, did not survive the severe injuries sustained.
The relevant authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of the accident. Carabinieri, along with a medical vehicle and an ambulance, responded to the scene after patrons from a nearby establishment contacted emergency services at 112 to report the incident. Investigations are ongoing to reconstruct the details of the tragedy and clarify the responsibilities related to the accident.
