A fatal road accident has led to the conviction of a truck driver from Brescia, who was responsible for the death of Donato Greco, a 55-year-old worker from Pozzolengo. The tragic event occurred in March 2020 on the Sp236 Goitese road in Cavriana, where the defendant struck Greco while he was directing traffic at a construction site with alternating one-way traffic. The Brescia court issued a sentence imposing an 8-month prison term on the truck driver, along with a suspension of his driving license for the same period.
