A traffic accident occurred on Tuesday evening in Desenzano, on Provincial Road 567, at the intersection with the exit for the A4 motorway, heading towards Castiglione. Two cars collided head-on and, as a result of the impact, ended up spinning out of control, becoming completely destroyed. The incident took place just before 9:30 PM and involved at least six people, including a 17-year-old boy. Initial medical assessments indicate that the injuries sustained by the occupants are not serious.
Ambulances from the Public Health Service of Calcinato and the Red Cross, along with a medical car, were dispatched to the scene to provide assistance to the injured, who were transported in yellow code to Civile and Poliambulanza hospitals in Brescia. Fortunately, no one is reported to be in life-threatening condition. The traffic police are investigating the causes of the accident while the Fire Brigade ensured the safety of the area, which remained closed for an extended period to facilitate rescue operations.
