Tragedy on Lake Garda: a 40-year-old base jumper lost her life after a jump from Monte Brento. Despite several hours of efforts by the alpine rescue teams from Riva del Garda and Dro, they were unable to reach her in time to save her.
The woman managed to alert the rescuers this morning, attempting to be reached by helicopter in a rugged area. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, they were unable to reach her in time. The lifeless body was found along the wall where the woman had fallen after the jump.
