Registrations are officially open for the 8th Triathlon Sprint Città di Salò, an athletic competition scheduled for Sunday, May 25, 2025. Organized by the Canottieri Garda, the event promises to attract numerous sports enthusiasts to Lake Garda, featuring a scenic course that includes a swimming segment in the Gulf of Salò, followed by a cycling route through the morainic hills and a run through the town’s historic center. Athletes can take advantage of reduced fees if they register by March 15, with the registration closing on May 21.
Alessio Cappa, a council member of Canottieri Garda Salò, emphasized the importance of making the triathlon accessible to everyone and announced a new event aimed at younger participants, scheduled for September. Last year, Federico Murero and Elisa Marcon triumphed in the male and female categories respectively, and both will participate this year to defend their titles. Massimo Ruffini, the event’s organizational head, expressed excitement about the increasing participation of athletes in the Triathlon Sprint Città di Salò, reaffirming the commitment to providing an engaging and satisfying experience.
