Twenty-eight projects have been approved with the 2024 call for proposals by Piano B, with a total funding of €75,600, an increase compared to the previous year. The projects were presented on March 5th at Palazzo Martini in Riva del Garda and are part of the Alto Garda and Ledro Youth Plan, promoted by the Valley Community (Social Welfare Service) and the municipalities of Arco, Drena, Dro, Ledro, Nago-Torbole, Riva del Garda, and Tenno.
The proposals from the young people were very creative and diverse, covering various areas such as music, literature, radio, gender issues, sports, environmental sustainability, and social activities. The activities will take place in different urban locations, not only in Alto Garda and Ledro.
Eleven new associations have obtained approval for their projects: Dolceriva Night (Riva del Garda), Plastiquo (Riva del Garda), Spin Out (Nago-Torbole), Orainsieme Dro (Dro), Comitato Carnevale dei Giovani (Pietramurata), Orchestra delle Metamorfosi (Riva del Garda), Pro loco di Tiarno di Sotto (Ledro), Filodrammatica Ce.Dro (Dro), Pro loco di Sant’Alessandro (Riva del Garda), coro Castel Penede (Nago-Torbole), and Guys 4 Guys (Tenno).
The other associations already active with the Youth Plan that have received funding are seventeen: cooperative Il Gaviale Centrale Fies, Smarmellata, Garda 2015, Seesaw, Corpo bandistico Riva del Garda, cooperative Smart, Alba Chiara Aps, Busa Consapevole, Radio Retebusa, Pallavolo C9, La Voojce di Babele, Radici vive, Bff, Sonà, Banda di Ledro, Polveri del giorno dopo, and L’Arte delle muse.
The twenty-eight new projects represent different visions and sensitivities that come together around the theme of territoriality. This year’s call for proposals focuses on youth participation and activation in unexplored territories.
In addition to the projects by youth associations, Piano B wanted to continue with strategic projects to promote youth entrepreneurship and engage young people in volunteering. These projects include “La polis del tempo libero,” which will take place at Cantiere26 in April and will offer associations the opportunity to present their activities and involve young people in volunteering. There is also the “Team di comunicazione,” which will manage Piano B’s communication channels (Instagram, Facebook, and website), creating original content and documenting the associations’ projects.
In conclusion, the 2024 call for proposals by Piano B has seen the approval of twenty-eight projects covering a wide range of topics and involving different youth associations in the Alto Garda and Ledro area. These projects provide an opportunity for young people to explore new territories and actively participate in community life.
