An incident involving a van occurred in Roè Volciano this morning, Tuesday, November 26. According to reports from the officers of the Vallesabbia Local Police Aggregation, the driver of the vehicle, who had stepped out to make a delivery, forgot to engage the handbrake. As a result, the van moved on its own, ending up in a ravine and also causing damage to a gate located along the road below.
To recover the vehicle, the intervention of the Fire Brigade was necessary, along with the establishment of a temporary one-way traffic system. The removal operations using a crane were completed around 3:30 PM, allowing the road to be reopened. No injuries have been reported in the incident.
