On Halloween night, Garda experienced a series of violent events and acts of vandalism. In Riva del Garda, firefighters responded to extinguish three arson fires in Piazza Costituzione, which damaged urban furnishings and a nearby construction site. The fires occurred between 7 PM and 9 PM, and thanks to the swift response, there were no serious damages.
Meanwhile, in Gavardo, the Carabinieri received reports of two assaults that took place between midnight and 2:30 AM. Involved were a 38-year-old and an 18-year-old, both transported to the hospital with injuries deemed to be minor. These incidents highlight the excesses that can accompany festive celebrations, as well as the readiness of law enforcement to manage emergencies.
