A fire affected a vehicle traveling along the A4 motorway in the late afternoon of Thursday, March 27, causing significant traffic disruptions between the toll booths of Sirmione and Brescia Est heading towards Milan. The blaze broke out around 6 PM in the area of Lonato del Garda, prompting the immediate intervention of the firefighters and law enforcement. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
The operations to extinguish the flames and secure the area resulted in traffic jams that reached up to 7 kilometers within minutes, severely impacting motorway circulation. Authorities are currently managing the situation to restore normal traffic flow.
