The O.L.I.O. Forum will take place on March 2nd and 3rd, 2025, at Veronafiere, as part of SOL2Expo, the first international fair dedicated to the olive oil supply chain. This significant event in the field of food and wine aims to promote the culture of extra virgin olive oil, raising awareness among both consumers and professionals about the importance of quality, sustainability, and food consciousness. The initiative is organized by the Terzomillennium Agency with the support of the Consortium for the Protection of Veneto D.O.P. Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and will feature the participation of industry experts, institutions, and associations to enhance the oil as an authentic expression of the territory.
During the forum, topics such as conscious production, certifications, and the sensory characteristics of extra virgin olive oil will be discussed. The program includes public sessions and dedicated meetings for industry operators, with expert speakers addressing current and future challenges in the olive oil market. With Verona designated as the City of Oil in 2024, this event represents an important opportunity to strengthen the province’s role in promoting quality extra virgin olive oil and safeguarding local traditions.
